Modric Aims to Overcome Heavy Defeat

Luka Modric, the captain of the Croatian national team, emphasized the need to correct his team's performance after the heavy 7-0 defeat against England. He urged the fans to support them in the upcoming crucial match against Spain in the UEFA Nations League. The loss affected his players, but he pointed out that there is still an opportunity for redemption, especially since Spain had achieved three consecutive wins prior to facing Croatia. Modric mentioned that Spain is considered one of the best teams in the world, and that his team must play strongly and prevent space for the opponents. On his part, coach Slaaven Bilic affirmed that the Spain match provides a quick opportunity for redemption after the defeat, despite the difficulty of the task against the World Cup champions. Modric has not yet decided his future with the national team, but he assured that he takes each match individually and wants to be happy and comfortable both inside and outside the stadium.
