Referee denies Saudis two penalties

The match between Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup "Gulf 27" featured controversial refereeing moments regarding a penalty awarded to Saudi Arabia, especially during added time. In the 104th minute, Saudi players requested a penalty after the ball touched a Qatari defender's hand, but the referee declined after reviewing the video assistant referee (VAR) footage. A refereeing expert confirmed that the referee's decision was correct, as there was no handball. Then, in the 111th minute, Abdullah Al-Hamdan struck a shot that hit a Qatari defender's hand inside the penalty area, yet the referee again refused to award a penalty, sparking debate over the referees' decisions in the match.
