Has infrastructure kept pace with Jordanian football surge

The article addresses the broadcasting crisis of the Jordan vs. Syria match, where technical issues caused poor image quality and signal disruptions. This led to the resignation of the General Secretary of the Jordanian Football Association and the appointment of another person to temporarily handle the duties. The federation confirmed that control over the production and broadcast falls under a specialized authority and that the errors resulted from unplanned efforts. They are working to review the causes and improve the quality of the broadcast in the upcoming phase. The report also indicates that the broadcast crisis reflects broader problems related to Jordan's football infrastructure, particularly the deteriorating condition of stadiums and playing surfaces, as well as rising rehabilitation costs. These issues impact the technical and physical performance of the teams, amidst significant government efforts to establish modern sports facilities with an expected investment exceeding 200 million Jordanian dinars, aiming to enhance sports infrastructure and develop the game in the future.
