Manchini on City issue
Italian national team coach Roberto Mancini confirmed that he has no involvement in the Manchester City issue. He indicated that he has finished discussing it and that it is a problem solely pertaining to the English club. He explained that the case relates to financial misconduct and unauthorized transactions carried out by the club between 2009 and 2018, and that it does not personally concern him. The case began in February 2023 when Manchester City was referred to an investigation committee over financial violations, and proceedings are still ongoing after the majority of the violations were confirmed in reports issued in 2026.
