Piers Morgan defends Ronaldo

British journalist Piers Morgan defended Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after the controversy surrounding his absence from and departure from the national team camp. He emphasized that what happened is a disgrace and shows a great lack of respect for a player who has contributed immensely to the team, especially given that he was mourning his mother's death just a few days ago. Morgan pointed out that Ronaldo is a symbol of Portuguese football, and his actions reflect a disappointing stance towards one of the country's greatest players. These comments came after coach Jorge Jesus decided not to start Ronaldo in the match against Denmark, and Morgan's subsequent tweet expressed his deep respect for the national team star, although Ronaldo's future with the team remains uncertain following his departure from the camp.
