Jesus Faces Boos Before Denmark Match
Reports revealed that the crisis within the Portuguese national football team has intensified ahead of the match against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League. Fans booed the team’s coach, Jorge Jesus, and the federation president, Pedro Proença, as they were leaving the team's camp, amid tensions caused by disagreements with star player Cristiano Ronaldo. The root of the crisis stems from Jesus’s decision to keep Ronaldo on the bench during their match against Norway, despite having him warm up on the sidelines, which led to Ronaldo missing training before unexpectedly leaving the camp, despite efforts to convince him to stay. Jesus confirmed that he is completely comfortable with his decision, focusing now on the upcoming match, and stated that he will address the crisis after the game.
