Van Bommel criticizes Jesus over Lukaku

Marc Van Bommel, the head coach of the Belgium national team, commented on the crisis between Jorge Jesus and the Portugal national team regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's absence and Romelu Lukaku's situation. He confirmed that Lukaku can play as a substitute or a starter depending on the needs, but he pointed out that the player doesn't participate much with Fenerbahçe, which affects his performance. He also revealed that he has been in contact with Lukaku to persuade him about the role he could play in the matches, emphasizing that decisions are based on the situation and the team's needs, and that there are no longer any promises guaranteeing his participation.
