Olympics and Paralympics Foster Sports Talent

Prince Fahd bin Jloy, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, emphasized the importance of the relationship with the International Olympic Truce Center in promoting the values of peace and dialogue through sports. During his meeting with the Center's President, George Papandrea, the two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of education and training to develop sports staff and support Olympic studies in Saudi Arabia, as well as strengthening collaboration with the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation to support the presence of sports among Islamic countries. The meeting also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s role in spreading peace and bridging perspectives through hosting major sporting events, with the Center looking forward to expanding cooperation with Saudi institutions in the coming phase.
