New Season of Abu Dhabi Baja begins

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the UAE Motor Federation have announced the launch of the fourth edition of the "Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge" for 2026-2027. The event features four desert rally rounds held between October 2026 and April 2027 in the Suyohan Hill, Liwa, and Al Ain Desert areas. The challenge aims to develop the skills of local drivers and brings together professionals and amateurs across car, motorcycle, and quad categories, with each race covering more than 100 kilometers. The fastest drivers are expected to complete the course in around two hours, with substantial cash prizes offered. The event is also considered a platform to enhance Abu Dhabi’s presence in motorsport both regionally and internationally.
