Real Madrid club has signed young Spanish forward Carlos Espi from Levante for five seasons until 2031. The player, who is 21 years old and was awarded the Best Under-23 Player in La Liga last season, has played 66 matches and scored 20 goals. Espi was close to moving to Brighton in England, but Real Madrid finalized the deal after learning about a release clause in the player's contract worth 25 million euros. This is considered the biggest sale from Levante for a player from their academy graduates. This signing is part of five deals the club has made during this summer transfer window and is one of its investments in young players to strengthen the team.
