Quartararo competes with Honda

French rider Fabio Quartararo, the 2021 World Champion, will compete with Honda in the MotoGP World Championship starting from the 2027 season after an eight-season stint with Yamaha. Quartararo has signed a two-year contract and will race with new 850cc engines in a new adventure following his departure from Yamaha in July 2026. Throughout his career with Yamaha, he secured 11 wins and 21 pole positions, and is currently ranked 14th in the season standings with 55 points, trailing leader Jorge Martín, who has 208 points.
