International Damascus Highway Traffic Routes

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces has announced the start of paving works on the Beirut- Damascus International Road between the Jisr Al-Mudirij and Beirut. This will require redirecting traffic at the first Al-Mudirij/autostrad intersection towards Hmara and Soufri, onto internal roads, in order to facilitate movement and prevent congestion. Work will commence at 5:00 AM and continue until the project is completed. These measures aim to improve infrastructure and reduce congestion during the construction period.
