Brazil girl rescued after kidnapping

Braia Grande police in São Paulo state, Brazil, successfully rescued a 10-year-old girl who had been kidnapped for 18 days. The rescue was prompted when an officer noticed a silent plea for help in her eyes during a routine patrol. It was revealed that her father was the kidnapper; he had drugged her and her documents, moving her between different locations. She was subjected to pressure and death threats, including a message threatening to kill her. Authorities confirmed that the girl had been missing since September 20th. A court ordered her return to her mother, with the father denied visitation rights and detained while awaiting trial on charges including kidnapping, unlawful detention, and domestic violence. The girl reached out to police in a message thanking the officer who saved her, emphasizing that his compassionate gaze was the key factor in rescuing her from an 18-day ordeal.
