Pope vows to resume duties after surgery

The first image of Pope Leo since his lung cancer surgery shows that he has committed to gradually resuming his religious activities after his recovery. He was discharged from the hospital and confirmed his ability to lead an independent daily life, praising the support he received through prayers from the crowds around the world. His surgery involved removing the lower lobe of his right lung, and prior diagnoses had sparked speculation about the impact of the illness on his papacy, which began over 17 months ago. Overall, the Pope expresses his determination to return to his usual activities with confidence, accompanied by health assurances indicating his condition is improving.
