Southern towns' olive harvest experience

During the olive harvest season in southern Lebanon, there was a variation in the course of the operations. In Zbaqine village, in the Sidon District, the harvest continued normally, with a temporary pause at the edges of the valley due to thick fog. In Deir Mimas, in the Marjeyoun District, a halt to harvesting was requested, coinciding with the freezing of work permits through the Mechanism Committee. Additionally, an Israeli force entered Khalf Zohair in Kfarchouba and kidnapped two villagers while they were gathering olives. Meanwhile, Israel heightened its state of alert along its northern borders.
