Pope's Health Update After Lung Cancer Battle

A medical report confirms that Pope Leo XIV, aged 71, underwent surgery to remove part of his right lung after being diagnosed with lung cancer. His condition is recovering well following the procedure in Rome. Recent examinations show continuous improvement, and the Pope is regaining his physical strength and resuming his religious duties, with an expected discharge from the hospital today, Saturday. Despite the positive results, the condition still requires close monitoring to determine the extent of tumor spread and whether additional treatments may be necessary, especially in light of the upcoming planned visits to several countries in November.
