Iran Military: Full Control of Hormuz Strait

The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Amir Hatami, confirmed that Iran has full control over the Strait of Hormuz, and that vessel movement through it is extremely limited, with the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian Army's naval forces controlling both sides. He explained that many ships attempting to pass without Iranian coordination either hit mines or were targeted, reflecting restrictions on navigation in the strait. Iran also expressed concern over the presence of American forces in the region and is continuing talks with Armenia regarding the Zangazur Corridor project, which aims to establish infrastructure for railways, roads, and energy.
