Baqa'i: Escalation Not in Interest Iran Offers Mediation

Iran has confirmed that escalation in the region is not in anyone's interest and expressed its readiness to assist in resolving the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen through diplomatic dialogue. It clarified that external intervention, military blockade, and futile battles have led to chronic suffering among the Yemeni people, pointing out the involvement of entities outside the region, such as Britain and the United States, in planning the blockade. Iran also denied responsibility for the Yemeni military operations and emphasized that the solution requires respecting Yemen's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as halting the air and naval blockades. It reaffirmed that escalation is not in anyone's best interest.
