Khatibzadeh Criticizes US Negotiation Tactics

Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, confirmed that the Israeli occupation entity attempted to disrupt the peace process in the region through direct negotiations with Lebanon but failed, and instead opened this pathway with the aim of destroying it. He pointed out that the Washington process has reached a dead end. He also indicated that Iran believes ending wars is a fundamental prerequisite for any agreement, and that ongoing conflict on different fronts means that war still persists everywhere. Additionally, he emphasized that Iran has stressed the necessity of including Lebanon in any agreement, and that it has succeeded in ending the war in Lebanon beforehand, while the United States has been defeated in its attempts to eliminate Iran's defensive capabilities.
