tayyar.org - Secrets of the covert operation and assassination plan

A German court has issued two prison sentences to men convicted of espionage and planning to assassinate prominent Jewish figures, in the context of uncovering a network linked to external agencies operating clandestine missions within Europe. The main defendant, of Afghan origins and working Danish, received instructions from elements connected to the Iranian Quds Force and used an intermediary to carry out attacks targeting individuals and civilian facilities of religious and political significance, including the head of the Central Jewish Council in Germany and a political activist from the Green Party. The ruling highlights the increasing security risks in Europe resulting from Iranian interference and the overlapping operations of intelligence agencies across several countries, amidst ongoing tensions between Germany and Iran and the need for European security cooperation to counter Iranian intelligence threats.
