Labor Minister Adds New Docs for Truck Drivers

The Minister of Labor, Muhammad Haider, issued a decision specifying the required documents for truck licenses designated for external transport, in order to ensure the issuance of work permits for foreign workers in this sector. The required documents include those related to trucks with a weight exceeding 21 tons, such as a suitable driving license or an official document proving competence from the relevant authorities, as well as proof of payment for the current year's mechanical fees. Additionally, if there is no transport company involved, the documents can be replaced with proof of ownership of the truck and registration with the National Social Security Fund. The aim of this decision is to organize the documentation process to guarantee workers' rights and the safety of external transport.
