Postponed elections amid war challenge Zelensky's succession

The article discusses the electoral situation in Ukraine amidst the war, where the martial law prohibits holding elections during the conflict, despite some calling for the possibility of organizing them through electronic voting. Polls indicate that the majority of Ukrainians oppose holding elections before the fighting ceases, even though trust in President Zelensky has declined from 90% to between 54% and 62%. Potential candidates' names are emerging, such as former commander Valerii Zaluzhnyi, who leads the polls and is considered the strongest contender, along with others like Kirelo Boudanov and Petro Poroshenko. Meanwhile, the question of holding elections remains complicated due to the wartime circumstances and the Russian threats of electronic manipulation.
