Tripoli hosts cultural events until October 18

The "Marsa Art Week" initiative in Tripoli, scheduled from October 9 to 18, 2026, aims to enhance the city's presence on the Lebanese cultural scene through art exhibitions, theatrical and dance performances, and musical concerts. The event centers around the theme of "Geography of Connections," addressing issues of land, belonging, memory, and the effects of war through visual arts, theater, dance, and music. The program includes exhibitions such as "Geography of Connections" and "In the Beginning Was Water," along with performances, workshops, and discussions designed to foster cultural exchange between Tripoli and Beirut. The goal is to establish the city as a hub for creativity and artistic expression beyond the capital.
