Salam vows action on Dob_el-Biider blast
Lebanese Prime Minister Nohad Machnouk emphasized the necessity of a thorough investigation and revealing all those involved in the explosive truck case that was thwarted in the Zahr Badr area. He confirmed that the investigation is ongoing until responsible parties are identified and referred to the judiciary. He pointed out that the truck was carrying hundreds of kilograms of explosive materials, including C4, and was halted a few days ago while heading from the Bekaa Valley to Beirut. Machnouk expressed his concern over the use of C4 in political assassinations in Lebanon's history, reaffirming that the government will take decisive action against anyone attempting to destabilize the country’s security, and reiterated its rejection of any weapons outside the framework of legality.
