Iran: Strait of Hormuz reopening depends on US duties

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz depends on the United States fulfilling its commitments. He pointed out that Iran's security and that of the regional countries are interconnected, and he expects no country to provide its territory for aggressors to attack Iran. He also noted that commercial ships are prohibited from passage without coordination, and any progress in reopening the strait is tied to Washington's implementation of its obligations.
