Security uncover details of theft ring from Zefta to Al-Maisil

It has been revealed that an unidentified individual stole air conditioning compressors (condenser units) in southern Lebanon. The most recent theft occurred at a restaurant in Zefta on the night of September 28, 2026. Following investigations, his identity was determined to be a Lebanese born in 1992, and he was detained by security forces in Al-Masilaq. During his arrest, three additional compressors and quantities of hashish were found in his possession. He confessed to carrying out approximately four similar thefts in the areas of Zefta, Nabatieh, Al-Masilaq, and Dair al-Zahrani, as well as drug use. He has been handed over to the judiciary for the necessary legal procedures.
