Five Arrested in Fake Medicine Ring

A network consisting of 10 individuals involved in the promotion of counterfeit medicines and the impersonation of medical professionals has been uncovered in Beirut. The operations included using images and audio of Professor Philippe Salem through electronic techniques to deceive victims into believing that the counterfeit drugs were produced by him. Investigations led to the arrest of 5 people and the issuance of reports against another 5, some of whom are in Turkey. Additionally, warehouses and printing devices were seized in various areas.
