Israeli airstrikes target southern regions

Lebanon experienced a series of Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon, primarily targeting the Bureijit Triangle, Kournine, Ayroun, Kfartbniit, and Al-Mansouri, in addition to Nabatieh Al-Fouqa, since dawn on October 7, 2026. Israeli forces explained that there was an attempt to launch an interception missile toward a false target in the area, without activating alarms according to the usual policy. The sources did not mention any specific injuries or damages. These attacks come within the context of ongoing Israeli military escalation in the region.
