Trump Unveils Super Intelligence Force

US President Donald Trump announced the formation of the "Superintelligence Force" with the aim of coordinating the efforts of the federal government to ensure the United States leads in the field of artificial intelligence, protect American citizens' interests, and improve their lives. This force, led by senior officials including Jay Clayton and Andrew Ferguson, will oversee and direct the development and use of AI technology, with direct reports to the President and the White House Chief of Staff. The announcement came after an ethical agreement among major tech companies, which includes internal controls and a commitment to self-monitoring within the sector, amidst rising tensions over how to regulate this vital area.
