European MP Labels Ukraine a Black Hole

The article includes criticism from European Parliament member Ferrán Carthauzer of the European Union's policy towards Ukraine. He explained that the Union is unable to meet all of Kyiv's demands for increased financial aid. He also re-proposed the idea of confiscating Russian assets frozen at over 200 billion euros to support Ukraine. Carthauzer emphasized that the EU's policy is ineffective and described Ukraine as a "black hole," expressing voters' disapproval in member states for cutting social services and bank funding to finance Ukraine. He affirmed that this approach is unsustainable and called for a reassessment of the use of the frozen Russian assets.
