Army seizes weapons and drugs in Bashamoun

A security force from the Lebanese Directorate of Intelligence carried out a security campaign in the Bechamoun - Aley area. During the operation, they raided a civilian's house and detained him on charges of arms and drug trafficking, and seized a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. Additionally, two citizens were detained in the Nahr el-Bared camp and in the areas of Tabbaneh, Bab al-Tabbaneh, and the Souk al-Khodar in Tripoli for their involvement in drug use and trafficking. The seized items were handed over to the judiciary, and investigations were directed to examine related criminal activities.
