Iraqi Forces Take Down Major Drug Traffickers at Rabia

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces announced that they have launched a successful security operation resulting in the arrest of several major international drug traffickers at the Iraq-Syria border in the Rabiyeh crossing. This operation was part of a joint security cooperation between Iraq and Syria, where they exchanged intelligence and implemented strict security measures along the border to prevent drug smuggling, which is exploited by regional networks. The campaign led to the seizure of millions of Captagon pills and dozens of kilograms of hashish, in addition to the detention of individuals involved in these networks.
