Antelias Faces Cosmetic Injection Concerns

The General Directorate of Customs in Lebanon intercepted a large quantity of cosmetic injections and smuggled medicines in the Antelias area. This was after surveillance and investigations that uncovered hidden caches in residential apartments, companies, and commercial centers, where the items were stored prior to distribution in the markets. It was confirmed that drug traffickers use deception techniques such as hiding these items in unusual locations. Efforts are ongoing to trace the source of these activities and to uncover the networks involved, with the aim of protecting public health and preventing the circulation of unregistered and potentially dangerous substances in the market.
