Ghassan Atiyeh Criticizes Energy Sector on Sadd Dam and Toxic Barrels

The Marj Bshir Dam issue in Lebanon continues to spark controversy and criticism. Deputy Gissan Atallah pointed out that the Ministry of Energy prevented the construction of a dam that could have provided the country's largest water reservoir, under the pretext of environmental concerns. Meanwhile, the government has taken actions that threaten public health by involving the region in barrels of toxic materials. There are also accusations of ignoring qualified professionals and making political decisions that led to the closure of important schools for Christians, as well as tightening government restrictions on housing loans. Tensions among political factions are rising regarding economic and security policies in the region.
