Fatah and Hamas talks progress
The article revolves around the upcoming Palestinian National Council elections scheduled for November, with the possibility of postponement based on behind-the-scenes political talks led by two Palestinian leaders. These discussions aim to reorganize the Palestinian landscape and bridge the gap between Fatah and Hamas, possibly even integrating Hamas into the Palestinian Liberation Organization. These leaders seek to utilize the waiting period to strengthen understandings, especially amidst regional and international changes, with the goal of bringing about substantial transformations in the Palestinian political scene rather than merely delaying the elections.
