Mamdani Urges Netanyahu Arrest

The article focused on New York Mayor Zehran Mmaidani's call for the United States to join the International Criminal Court and to implement its warrants, including arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over allegations of war crimes in Gaza. Mmaidani emphasized that if the U.S. government had the authority, it would seek to follow the law and respect the court’s warrants, despite the fact that the United States and Israel are not members of the Court and do not recognize its jurisdiction. This call signifies a shift in the American stance towards the Court and how to deal with its warrants.
