Saudi Interior: Flight assistant assaulted captain
A Fly Dubai aircraft en route to Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia following an assault by the co-pilot on the captain, which resulted in injuries to both. Saudi and international investigations revealed that the co-pilot assaulted the captain before the injured were taken to the hospital and the crew returned to Dubai. All passengers completed their journey aboard a replacement aircraft, and investigations are currently ongoing into the motives behind the incident.
