Isa al-Khouri: Hezbollah faces crises prioritizing Iran

The Minister of Industry, Jo Issa Al-Khoury, affirmed that the presence of Hezbollah's weapons outside the framework of the state hampers its establishment and obstructs the assertion of Lebanese sovereignty. He emphasized that the solution lies in regaining control over all Lebanese territory through diplomacy, which he regards as the only way to achieve stability and security. He described the party as "politically and militarily cornered," clarifying that Hezbollah is prioritizing Iran's interests at the expense of Lebanon, and that it cannot claim any victory amid the ongoing changes on the southern front of Lebanon. Additionally, he pointed out that the Lebanese government is working to pressure Hezbollah to surrender its weapons to the state, while also strengthening the capabilities of the armed forces. He considers that ensuring security and restoring sovereignty are the main pathways to attract investments and achieve financial and political stability in Lebanon.
