Dubai–Israel trip moved to Saudi Arabia

An Israeli source was surprised to learn that the "Fly Dubai" aircraft, which was en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was forced to divert to Saudi Arabia after the plane emitted distress signals (codes 7700 and 7500), sparking fears of a hijacking. Despite the plane flying over Jordanian airspace and limited communication with it, expectations grew that this was not a serious security incident, especially after the aircraft resumed transmitting signals near Taba Airport in Saudi Arabia. Israel is continuing its investigation into the incident, amid urgent security consultations regarding the plane's course and the possibility of it landing in Saudi Arabia.
