Pharmacists' Syndicate with Drug Importers

The Pharmacists Syndicate and Importers of Medicines in Lebanon signed a cooperation protocol sponsored by the Minister of Public Health, aimed at strengthening the relationship between the sector and improving the terms of dealings with pharmacies, especially financial facilitation and return mechanisms, with the goal of alleviating burdens and enhancing the working environment for pharmacists. The Minister confirmed that, despite the wave of inflation, Lebanon has managed to maintain medication prices, while working to achieve a balance between avoiding additional financial burdens on citizens and providing pharmacists with a fair income to ensure the continuity of the sector. The Pharmacists Syndicate President also highlighted the importance of improving the professional and living conditions of pharmacists amidst challenging economic circumstances.
