Qatari PM discusses Lebanon support

Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani to discuss regional developments and strengthen cooperation between Lebanon and Qatar. The two sides emphasized the importance of de-escalation and regional stability. The meeting also covered Qatar’s support for Lebanon in the fields of energy and electricity, assistance to enhance the capabilities of the Lebanese Army, as well as the promotion of economic and investment relations and reconstruction efforts in Lebanon.
