Fuel prices see significant rise

Fuel prices in Lebanon increased today according to the new official pricing. The price of 95-octane gasoline reached 95,810,000 LBP, up by 92,000 LBP, while 98-octane gasoline rose to 98,828,000 LBP, with a similar increase. The price of diesel also went up to 1,768,000 LBP, an increase of 127,000 LBP. Meanwhile, the price of gas remained unchanged at 1,221,000 LBP. Sources expect prices to continue rising amid growing prospects of further inflation, amidst an escalating living crisis in the country.
