321 Enforcement Notices to Generator Owners in 2023

The inspection campaigns carried out by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce since the beginning of the year have resulted in the issuance of 659 violation reports. Of these, 321 reports were against owners of electric generators, accounting for approximately 49% of the total recorded violations. Additionally, trading was suspended at 25 commercial establishments due to their products not meeting the required specifications, while the ministry allowed four establishments to resume trading after correcting the status of their products. The Directorate affirmed its continued efforts to monitor violations and called on citizens to submit complaints through the electronic application or the toll-free hotline.
