The Lebanese Internal Security Forces managed to arrest an organized prostitution ring operating in a hotel in Sudiek. Nine women of Brazilian, Uzbek, and Moldovan nationalities were detained. During their investigation, they admitted to practicing prostitution within a network managed by two individuals outside Lebanon known as "Yulia" and "Max." The hotel owner and staff were also detained after it was discovered they were aware of the prostitution activities taking place inside. They have all been referred to the judiciary to take the necessary legal actions.
