Beirut Mountains Water Supply Restored

Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment announced the resumption of normal water distribution after repairs were completed on the main water line supplying the Abou Hidar Tower tank. The line was damaged, causing the main Dbayeh pumping station to stop operating. The officials confirmed that the repairs were successful and that water distribution will return to the usual schedule starting August 20, 2026. This ensures the stability of water supply to affected areas such as Abou Hidar, Khar Nakhle, Antelias, Jounieh, New Jdeideh, Zghartaya, Dkkwe, and the Hadeed tank.
