UNIFIL transfers site in Al-Khordali to Lebanese Army

UNIFIL forces in Lebanon, stationed near the Lebanese Army headquarters in Khardali, have transferred their position to the Lebanese Army's 7th Brigade as part of a plan to relocate their positions in response to Security Council resolution to end the mission of the international forces by the end of the year. This handover is part of efforts to strengthen the Lebanese Army’s deployment and for it to take over the sites previously controlled by the international forces in the area, in order to complete the operational procedures related to this process.
