Nasser Al-Din on Healthcare Development

The Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon, in cooperation with International First Aid Organization and UNICEF, has launched an upgraded version of the Phoenix digital system platform to enhance primary healthcare. The system includes applications that enable healthcare personnel and clients to access services remotely, such as appointment scheduling, medication reminders, and secure medical record access, with offline functionality. Minister Rakan Nasser Al-Din emphasized that digital transformation contributes to strengthening the resilience and sustainability of the health system, providing more equitable and efficient healthcare services, with support from partners to reach over 300,000 Lebanese people and deliver millions of services through more than 1,200 health centers.
