Army Command Mourns Brigadier General Retired Roukoz

Retired Brigadier General Youssef Roukoz passed away at the age of 96 after a long career in the Lebanese Army. He began his service in 1930 and rose through the ranks until he reached the rank of Brigadier General in 1981. He was awarded several medals and honors from the military leadership and participated in training courses both inside and outside Lebanon. His body will be transported to his hometown of Berramiya in Sidon, where a funeral will be held and he will be buried.
