Lebanese Electric warns of outages

As a result, the foundation has experienced a severe decline in its ability to secure funding, with overdue payments accumulating from public administrations and official institutions, alongside rising electricity wastage rates. The foundation has decided to take exceptional measures, including cutting power supply to overdue administrations and institutions after a five-day grace period. The focus will be on improving bill collection and reducing electricity supply hours in areas with high wastage, except for government hospitals for humanitarian reasons, all aimed at enhancing the sustainability of electricity supplies in Lebanon.
