Public Security Begins Volunteer Sign-Up Conditions and Age Groups

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced the opening of volunteering opportunities for commissioning conscripted gendarmes from civilians and members of the armed forces. Applications will be accepted from September 7, 2026, until October 9, 2026. The volunteering includes specialties such as riot control, special forces, judicial police, motorized units, as well as prisons and traffic departments. Applicants must have been Lebanese for more than 10 years, be between 18 and 28 years old depending on their educational qualification, meet the physical and moral requirements, have a clean criminal record, and submit the necessary documents through the Security Forces' online platform.
